Shipping Policies

Accepted Methods of Payment

We accept Paypal, Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover.


Shipping Costs

All orders will be charged a flat fee of $6.50 for shipping.  This applies to orders, not individual products, so you can save by grouping all of your purchases in one order.

 


Shipping Time

All orders will be processed upon receivement of payment.  The time needed to ship merchandise will vary depending upon your location. Please refer to the map below to get an idea of how long it will take shipments to get to you.

Merchandise is shipped by UPS or USPS, depending on your location.


Damaged Shipments

Damaged shipments from handling must be claimed with the freight carrier. If any cartons are missing or damaged, be sure to note this on the freight bill. If you notice concealed damage after the driver has left, keep all the packing and call the freight carrier to return and inspect the damage and file a claim. We are not responsible for damage caused by the freight carrier.


Manufacturer's Defects

We stand behind all our products. Should a product arrive damaged, we will replace it. All you need to do is email our Customer Service department (support@individualselfdefense.com) for instructions. Do not return products without first contacting us to receive instructions. If a damaged item is to be returned to us, you must first receive a Return Merchandise Authorization Number. No packages will be accepted without a Return Merchandise Authorization Number written clearly on the package. Further instructions will be provided from Customer Service.


Return Policy

Permission for any return merchandise must be secured from our return department. You have 90 days from the ship date to receive refunds. The only exception is the Stun Master series of stun guns, which come with a lifetime warranty.  You must email the refund request to support@individualselfdefense.com (with "RETURN" in the subject field), at which time the Return Merchandise Authorization Number with return instructions will be sent to you. No packages will be accepted without a Return Merchandise Authorization Number written clearly on the package. Products being returned must have a RMA# issued before returned.  A 20% restocking fee will be charged for the return of any non-defective merchandise.

 


Canceling an Order

If you've accidentally ordered the wrong product or quantity, we have no problem with canceling your order and refunding your money.  Contact us as quickly as possible at support@individualselfdefense.com.  However, if the product has already shipped you will have to follow the return policy procedure outlined above.


We can refund shipping costs only if the return is a result of our error.

You are responsible for all freight charges on shipments that are refused or returned with no fault on our part. We are not responsible for incidental or consequential damages or losses to defective products, errors in shipping your order, or other errors. The limit of our liability is the replacement cost of any item you purchase from us.
